Vision House was incorporated as a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) in 1990 to provide safe and confidential transitional housing and services for homeless children and their families.
Over the past 25+ years, over 1,000 men, women and children have benefited from Vision House services. Our goal is to coordinate successful re-integration of residents into the community through adequate housing, counseling, child care, food, clothing, education and vocational training, life skills development, employment, etc.
Vision House is committed to serving a target population who is homeless and whose income falls below 30% of the median income. Residents are allowed and encouraged to stay in our homes for 18 months to two years in order to make the changes they need and gain the skills to support themselves and their families. Residents may stay longer than two years when they pursue a four-year degree.
