The Vision House program is designed to help homeless families transition to permanent housing as well as to help families on the verge of homelessness maintain existing housing by providing services that promote transformation of lives and housing stability. Our program consists of a tiered model including eviction prevention, fast-track housing (rapid re-housing), traditional transitional housing and referrals to long-term supportive housing. Classes and case management are provided to address the barriers to self-sufficiency and housing stability. These classes include topics such as: education and vocational training, life skills development, employment, parenting and health and wellness. We believe that by helping people develop their God-given gifts and talents, they will create sustainable change for themselves and will be able to support themselves and their families into the future.
Residents are required to abide by the Vision House no tolerance policy to drug and alcohol use and to meet regularly with their case manager or coach to set up goals, outline action plans and receive support and accountability in reaching their goals.
